PXG GEN7 0311 P IRONS (BLACK)

Perfectly Balanced With XCOR2 Core

The PXG 0311 P GEN7 Irons deliver the longest, most forgiving irons PXG has ever made.

PXG 0311 GEN7 P Irons provide an ideal balance of workability and forgiveness. These irons, designed for low to mid-handicap players, feature PXG’s patented face and core material, moderate offset, a mid-size head design, a clean aesthetic and a surprising amount of forgiveness. These irons feature the thinnest face in golf, combined with a new proprietary internal polymer called Quantum COR, lightweight titanium insert, and external and internal tungsten weighting. Together these elements push performance to the limit and deliver a previously unattainable combination of distance, workability, and forgiveness.

10 years in the making, PXG's extremely lightweight proprietary core materials help reduce the mass of the core which enables more weight to be positioned low and to the perimeter of the backside of the clubhead, dramatically increasing MOI. Combined with PXG's variable ultra thin face technology, this enhances the COR to the USGA limit for extreme face deflection and incredible ball speed.

Since PXG's inception, they have maintained the thinnest face in golf. An industry breakthrough, the ultra-thin face technology continues to deliver unmatched feel and mishit performance. Combined with the proprietary XCOR2 technology, GEN7 Irons offer the highest COR performance ever. Made from high strength HT1770 maraging steel and measuring a mere 1.27mm thick.

Power Channel Technology is the proprietary U-shaped corridor built into the internal surface of the face to increase deflection and bend in the top sector. The channel creates face movement and transfers energy to simultaneously increase launch angle, trajectory, and ball speed. GEN7 Irons feature five tungsten heel/toe weights and one large weight located near the CG on the back of the clubhead. The large centre weight can be used to achieve optimal swing weight.
